Hilton Atherton

Construction Manager

Hilton grew up in Lake Tahoe before moving to Reno to study civil engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno. He has worked for Monte Vista Consulting as a staff designer for over one year, gaining experience as a civil engineer. He will graduate in Spring 2020 and hopes to continue working for Monte Vista Consulting focusing more on design work than drafting and reporting. Hilton's interests are water resources and hydrology.

Michael Feuerstein

Project Manager

Michael Feuerstein is going into his second year as project manager for the ASCE Water Treatment team, and fourth year studying Environmental Engineering, at the University of Nevada, Reno. Having completed an Engineering Communications course at the University, Michael has the skills to ensure the efficiency of the team and quality of Sierra Solution's work.

Nicholas Garibaldi

Design Engineer - Emphasis in Water Resources

Nick Garibaldi is currently a fourth year Environmental Engineering student at the University of Nevada, Reno. One of the largest projects he has completed is the design of an 18-mile-long pipeline, with an emphasis on pump station design, for a Water Resources Engineering class at the University. Currently, he is working with a colleague on the design of a water treatment facility in Anacortes, Washington, for another class at the University.

Daniel Hein

Design Engineer - Emphasis in Structural Engineering

As a project manager of the ASCE Steel Bridge team, Daniel Hein has an impressive background when it comes to structural engineering. Daniel has taken coursework in statics, structural analysis, and mechanics of solids, which help him when designing new projects.

Kelly Keselica

Academic Advisor

Kelly Keselica has both her bachelors and masters in Civil Engineering. Kelly demonstrates a great understanding of Civil Engineering, as she teaches courses on Mechanics of Solids and Dynamics at the University of Nevada, Reno. Whenever the team needs guidance, Kelly is there to help.

Michael Vicks

Professional Engineer

Mike graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2006 with a Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering. He worked for K2 Engineering and Structural Design shortly after graduating. In January of 2011, Mike started his own civil engineering firm, Monte Vista Consulting. Mike is a licensed professional engineer in both Nevada and California and specializes in site improvement design and entitlement services for commercial, residential, industrial, and public works projects.
